Renovation City Hall, Vlissingen
The existing city hall in Vlissingen has been renovated extensively. The original building had been built with a heavy stonework facade. To open the building up to the public, the architect has replaced the entire heavy facade by a completely transparant glass facade, which provides a view on the council hall on the second floor.
To expand the public area, the former inner court has been roofed over by a wavy glass roof.
