Because of the cantilever over the entrance and the parking layer, the Schutterstoren has been build from a concrete core surrounded by a steel structure. The lowest two apartment levels transfer the load from the facade of the entire building through a steel lattice to the core.
The floors consist of steel plate concrete floors, which, combined with architectural provisions, meet all the demands for sound insulation.
